The New Big Lie On Application Blanks And Resumes

Desperate applicants do desperate things and now we have the new big lie. It is an new twist on an old lie. Applicants for jobs are no longer inflating their salary, job title, education and responsibilities --- they are deflating them. Since many mangers do not want to hire people who they feel are over-qualified and many applicants are looking for any job just to have some kind of income, we're seeing applicants report a lower salary than they were making, changing job titles, and leaving degrees off of their application blanks or resumes.

The problem is a lie is still a lie.
